Will Tinubu sign the state police constitutional amendment by 31 December 2026?

This market will resolve to "Yes" if, between market open and 31 December 2026, 23:59 WAT, President Tinubu signs into law a constitutional amendment bill that creates or permits state police, as confirmed by the State House or credible reporting. A bill passed but not yet signed counts as "No". Otherwise, this market will resolve to "No".

A constitutional amendment to allow state police forces has been approved by 25 state assemblies, above the 24 needed. It now goes to the President for assent.
